Admission to Carden Hall is based on entrance testing and individual
assessment. Our junior primary (kindergarten) testing begins in January*; students must be at least five years old in September.
Testing for students entering grades 1-5 is held on the first Saturday in
March. For students applying in all grades, the first step is to submit an
application and a testing fee of $125. There will be a second testing
date in early May only for those grade levels that have available space.
By early spring we have a waiting list at
most grade levels. Thus, we encourage
you to have your child tested early.
If a student is accepted for the fall in
grades 1-5, he/she is required to attend
summer school: the six-week session
for grades 3-5 begins in mid-July; the
four-week session for grades 1-2 begins at the end of July. This time in the classroom is necessary for new students to learn our specialized curriculum.
Please contact Mrs. Bothwell, our Director of Admissions, at 949-645-1773,
for an application or for further information.
